2022 has been a heck of a good year for mobile games so far. We’ve seen the release of a few future classics, that’s for sure. Every year, mobile games get better and better due to better graphics and more exciting themes, so let’s take a look at some of the best and most recent ones.
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows
That’s right, the Hitman franchise is back with another mobile game, and this time the focus is on sniping! With the release of “The Shadows” back in March, IO Interactive has focused the gameplay on using a single weapon, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t the trademark Hitman creativity on display. This game series has built its reputation on giving the player ample choice to kill their targets, and fans of the series will be pleased to know that this is still the case – even if you’re only given a sniper rifle.
A new take on the “hide the body” gameplay has become a mainstay in Hitman games. A good assassin can sneak in and out of the building without getting caught, including cleaning up after any kills. In “The Shadows”, you can hide enemy bodies as you take them out by lining up your shots with cleverly placed environments. So many factors of Hitman games are instantly recognisable, from the bald Agent 47 to its sprawling maps with many environmental kills. So much so that it has transcended video games into other media, such as films, books, and even online casino games! There are online slots themed around the eponymous Hitman games, and their design is fantastic, and the best operators offer bonuses, giving you more chances to win. However, with so much choice around, it’s crucial that you compare sites to make sure that you’re getting the best casino bonuses. Whether you’re looking to play hitman-themed slots or any other type of casino game, there’s a site that’s right for you.
Yggdrasil Gaming is one of our favourite casino game developers in the world. They consistently put out the finest slot games in the world, and 2022 has been no different for them, thanks to a string of hit releases, further establishing their name as one of the most respected in the world of online casino gaming.
Their latest slot game, Boilin’ Pots, has everything we love about Yggdrasil Gaming in a nutshell. Incredible graphics, excellent compatibility for mobile devices, and an exciting theme. It’s so good that you will not want to put it down.
So how is Yggdrasil Gaming’s mobile compatibility so good? A big part of that is the fact that they code their games using a language called HTML5. HTML5, like C programming language, can be adaptable to several different types of devices. It makes the life of the programmers who produce the games easier as it enables cross-compatibility for desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and, our favourite, mobile phones.
Raid: Shadow Legends
If you haven’t heard about the fantastic mobile game Raid: Shadow Legends, you must have lived under a rock for the past few months! It’s become one of the most talked-about mobile games and is being advertised heavily worldwide. The developers must have known they were onto a winner with this one.
The game is a role-play— one where players battle with mystical beats in a beautifully designed fantasy world. The game is seriously loaded with features which make it impressive. Just be aware that you will almost definitely become pretty addicted to it!
If you like your games a little more relaxing than having to fight beasts, then Elvenar might be the one for you. It’s an incredibly therapeutic mobile game where you effectively build cities.
The game is slow-paced, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting than any of the other games on this list. It does more than enough in terms of the gameplay to keep things interesting, but it never becomes hectic, and that is quite a tricky balance to find in mobile games.
A big part of the appeal of this one is the graphics. They are second to none, and it’s incredible that you get such excellent quality free of charge! Props to the developers of this one for an impeccable job.
